What to Expect. Step by Step.
From initial proposal to final report delivery, the steps for a typical SOC 1 or SOC 2 audit are:
1. Provide information to us about your company. Just click on the "Get A Quote" tab and fill out the easy form. Or, simply call us anytime. The information you provide is used to estimate the professional services hours and other expenses required to complete your audit.
2. Receive all-inclusive pricing via email within 24 hours. No hassles or obligations. The proposal is emailed to you along with a helpful "What To Expect" guide which explains the SOC audit process. Our pricing includes all professional services hours and expenses, including travel. There are no additional fees charged to you at the end of the audit.
3. Receive client referrals from us. To help determine if we are the right CPA firm for you, contact a few of our clients and ask them about their experience with our firm.
4. Make your CPA firm selection. We are available to answer any questions or concerns as you go through your firm selection process.
As your audit provider, The Moore Group will:
1. Deliver a Project Plan with timelines. Our Project Plans clearly communicate the audit timelines and deliverables. This critical step helps to make our clients' lives (and ours) much easier.
2. Guide you through the Readiness Preparation phase. We start each engagement with “Readiness Preparation”. This is basically a handholding step we take with you to document and describe your existing controls within the report. We also provide the necessary guidance to help you prepare for the testing phase.
3. Conduct the Testing phase. In most cases, the field visit testing will take 1-2 days total at your location. Prior to the field visit, we utilize remote information gathering and testing as much as possible so we can minimize the disruption to your business.
4. Provide your SOC audit report in hard copy and PDF formats. The audit report we provide is easy to understand for readers of all technical backgrounds. The hardcopy version is fully bound and printed on high quality paper designed to last.
